another spot that I’ve been with my Dad, and it has the COOLEST columnar basalt along the ocean!

like, helloooooo!!! this is so amazing!!! the basalt forms like this as it cools in hexagonal patterns, and it’s so beautiful

also, there are kind of two sides of the same beach that you can stop at, and we stopped at both!

little f-road adventure

next, we drove on one of the f-roads, which we didn’t end up doing as much as I was expecting, and I think we would really like to do more of that next time. again, this is a road that my Dad and I drove along in 2017!

we didn’t get to camp until late, like 10:30 or something! we tried to quietly set up camp without waking anyone up

we had some tasty dogs for dinner as it was passing midnight, and it was awesome

went to bed at 2 am… still light outside because the sun never fully sets!
