this one had a small room where you could make food, and we made some yummy eggs again:) we had minimal utensils and pots/pans on this trip, as well as a tiny cooler that was pretty dang cute!

this was a big spot that my Dad and I missed that I really wanted to see, and it was so exciting that Jordan and I were able to visit it.

a smaller waterfall, but pretty!

dettifoss

a gigantic waterfall!!! it soaked us and had a gorgeous rainbow, and the path was totally wet and a lot of it was roped off, unfortunately

the pathway from selfoss to dettifoss had 8 bajillion flies that were really annoying, so the closer we got to the waterfall, the more the flies were sprayed away by the waterfall lol

this was a really nice out-of-the-way campsite where you reserve your specific spot and have a lot of privacy

we took a lot of dumb pictures while cooking up some more hot dogs and who knows what else we ate

getting ready for bed

we were getting ready for bed really late again, around midnight, I’d guess! we saw the sun set as far as it went the entire night!

walter mitty

we downloaded the secret life of walter mitty ahead of time so that I could fulfill my dream of watching walter mitty (filmed in iceland) in iceland!!! it was amazing!!! the secret life of walter mitty is my absolute all-time favorite movie ❤
