v rocks & reads

it might be obvious, but…

I like rocks!!!

I graduated with a degree in geology from UVU at the end of summer 2024 after taking our capstone 6 week field camp course. I’m so lucky to have studied rocks in Utah, where there is SO much cool geology!!!

I’ve loved our utah mountains and red rocks since I was a kid, I am dino-obsessed (my insta is velocironica), and I’ve always been fascinated by natural disasters and hazards like earthquakes and volcanoes!

I also like books!!!

I’m a big reader, another thing I have loved since I was a kid (I’m talking reading at the dinner table and staying up past my bedtime sneaking books with a clip-on reading light).

my favorite genres are fantasy, romance, and science-fiction. I’ve also recently been getting into non-fiction!
